[BlueStar, 30/06/2011] Fantastic country, weather was great, clear waters. stayed near the army barracks so got to see the red arrows training everyday. was great!
the history of the country is amazing aswell. lots to do and see. stayed on the greek side for most my time. went to the turkish side of cyprus didnt like it as much, totally different. So definately stay on the greek side.
[mary4752, 22/10/2010] the stuff is rude! the rooms did not earn their value!with the same money you can get a better hotel room cause everything it is too old!in order to watch the tv we have to hit it!! the swimming pool was dirty and the view from the room is a gas station!I will never go back there!

BOOKING
The booking was made via Expedia.co.uk and worked out at approximately £200 for 2 of us sharing a twin apartment (basically £100 each). Before I confirmed the booking through Expedia I went off and did a bit of research on the hotel to make sure I wasnt getting something that was cockroach infested.
The hotels website, although fairly basic in appearance, made the hotel look pleasant enough and I sent an email to the hotel asking what amenities were

[expressbookers, 25/08/2008] The Valana are a 2 star plus self catering just situated 5mins walk away from Limassol tourist area. Apartments have electric kettle and toaster. The Valana also offers occasional entertainment at the bar in the evenings.There is plenty of space around the large pool to cater for all guests.
