The Woolpack Inn is located in a 14th century grade I listed building. It was once home to vicar Thomas Lowrey who was ejected from the Church of England during the time of the restoration. From 1672 on the building was licensed for worship and served as a Non-Conformist chapel, it was turned into an inn in 1708.
