Description:	Tropical World is part of the Botanical Gardens in Leeds and run by Leeds City Council. It is a combination of winter gardens and zoo with a series of specially created environments such as rain forest, desert and swamp for the visitor to explore. Each ecosystem contains the flora and fauna that would live there (with some limitation on animals). Tropical world opens at 10 am and closes at 6pm in summer (defined as during British Summer Time) and at 4 pm in the winter. Prices are £3 for adults, £2 for children over 8 and free for under 8s. The site is accessible for wheelchair users and scooters are available on request.
