Royal Armouries Museum

[squidge, 13.02.2008] The Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds, is rated with one star by Frommers, on their three star scale. This "notable construction" situated along the waterfront, with its £42 million facility, actually contains London Tower's Royal Armouries, after "perpetual storage" of these, due to "inadequate facilities" within the London museum.

"Many pieces", from England's "oldest" museum, include the "working arsenal of the medieval kings", illustrate the "development" of the use of "arms and armor" in all situations, "for war, sport, hunting, self-defense, and fashion".
