[25.04.2007] We drove to the Hoover Dam from Vegas and it was a very easy and straightforward drive (40 mins). Parking was pretty easy as there was a large multi story car park just before the dam itself. We arrived early so there were plenty of spaces, but when we left the car park was near full, so it pays to get there early. You can do one of two things. [25.04.2007] If you want to visit Vegas and get the Vegas glitz then the Aladdin may not be your best option. Many of the other hotels go much more overboard with the room themes etc. If you want a simple, comfortable room, then this is fine. I personally would not recommend the Aladdin, there are much better hotels in Vegas such as the Luxor. The Desert Passage is worth a visit and I would also recommend the breakfast buff [more]

[24.04.2007] This ride is located in the Las Vegas Hilton, just off the north end of the Strip. They call it "The Experience," and it really is, as it is much more than just a simulator ride. Your ticket allows you to wander at your leisure through "History of the Future," which is full of Star Trek memorabilia. Even if you are not a true fan, you will still find it entertaining to see all the strange stuff they have on show. [more]
