[toombsey, 25.04.2007] We drove to the Hoover Dam from Vegas and it was a very easy and straightforward drive (40 mins). Parking was pretty easy as there was a large multi story car park just before the dam itself. We arrived early so there were plenty of spaces, but when we left the car park was near full, so it pays to get there early.

[AmAzonka, 08.12.2006] Hard to believe how people could built such grandiose construction. So much water brought and kept in the middle of desert. The view from helicopter is incredible. You can take a tour by car as well. It is about 40 minutes from Vegas. On the way you may visit Indian village as well and some other attractions.
