Dogs
Kildare park has a big open space which can be used by anyone, but dogs seem to enjoy it most. I see dogs at the park all the time running around, playing with their owners. Me and my dog have lots of fun. I chase her around the park and then when she gets bored of running she rolls around in the mud (which is annoying, as I get the job of cleaning her). Nell (my dog) enjoys playing "fetch" at the park. There is a nereby forest which we need to pass on our way to the park, so we pick up a stick from there.

Children
There is a children's play area at the park which consists of:
A Chute
Swings
A Roundabout
Scales
Baby/Toddler Toys
A see-saw
Climing Ropes
It's great fun for children, and it's completely safe as everywhere is covered in bark. My and my girlfriend used to spend ages at the park when we were younger and I really enjoyed playing on all the time.

Shopping
The park is across from The Key Store and is just a short walk away from the town centre.

Conclusion
I don't think there's much more I can say about Kildare, only that it's one of my favourite places to go with my dog and that it's an excellent park!!!

The park can be easily accessed by wheel chairs as the ground is mostly flat. There is no car park, but a bus goes past very often.

"Must See"-Factor - 50%
Kildare is not much of an attraction, but the football matches (which take place around once a week in the summer) are really good and Lanark Primary's Sports Day (every year in June) always has a good turn-out.

Budget Friendliness - 100%
This is Kildare Park's best feature. It's absolutly free to access. Football matches are also free to watch.

Diversity of Vegitation - 20%
This is what you'll find at Kildare:
Trees
Grass
Weeds
There are no plants etc. appart from the weeks.

Recreational Value - 90%
Kildare is great for football, rugby, running and other sports. It is excellent for dog owners because of the large amount of space avaliable for dogs to run around on. See main review for more info.
