perfection!

[gatormax36, 03/07/2011] I was looking for a quiet, comfortable place to call home for an eight day tour of Southern Scotland. It had to be first class in every sense of the word. I found it at Craigend Cottage! There are few places that can truly qualify as perfect because that is such a subjective term. [mdenadai, 30/06/2011] Craigend was our favorite B&B during a two week driving trip across Scotland, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Lanark area. Other reviewers have noted how spacious and comfortable the rooms are and how lovely the country setting is, which we also found to be exceptional (I am including several photos). Breakfast was also superior with farm-raised products and home-made jams. What we appreciated most, though, was the help that Heather gave us when British Airways cancelled all flights out of Edinburgh on the day we were to leave. [kirruu, 28/06/2011] I usually travel overseas at least once a year and I have to say that this place is probably one of the best places I ever stayed at. Accommodations were fantastic, owners are great, love the fact it was dog friendly. Breakfasts were very pleasant. The owners went out of their way to help us out when we were having trouble navigating through the area. Lovely place, don't book anywhere else.
