Aquapura is a "stately terracotta-coloured" 19th century manor house on the banks of the Douro. The spa itself is a "glass extension" with an "Asian-themed" interior comprising candles, "natural light" and "wood finishes". The range of treatments on offer is "impressive", including a technogym, a "vast" indoor pool, herbal sauna and "tropical rain shower". The treatment rooms have views of the river.
