[nam2505, 31/01/2012] I stayed at this resort in August 2011 and found it to be comfortable and nicely fitted out - the theme is of an old west hunting lodge and (as you'd expect with Disney!) is very well done. The main lobby is impressive. We had one of the 'villas' which in reality are 'mini apartments' situated in a block separate from the main hotel - separated by a 2 minute walk along a covered walkway. The 'room' was a good size (two bedrooms, a living area with kitchen and two bathrooms), clean and reasonably well equipped.
The hotel boasts two separate swimming pools and access to the main attractions is v

Ticketswdw.com is best website where you can easily booking Animal Kingdom tickets at cheapest price online. Here you can also find great information for different Disney theme park attractions.
[alwayslate, 14/02/2010] Another great location for Disney. Hotel is themed on 1940's broadwalk and generally hotel is very good. Rooms are staring to look a little tired and personally didn't like the whole bathroom set up although having the double sinks seperate to the bathroom does help for families - just not the way I like to see my bedroom.
Maybe this is why Virgin have not put this hotel in their brochure this year but I would certainly reccommend this hotel but would suggest the Yacht Club as a better option.
[alwayslate, 14/02/2010] Very comfortable hotel and rooms - kept very clean as you would expect from a Disney hotel. Facilities are excellent with a great pool complex and beach. Of course location is great and good fun catching the water taxis to Epcot or to the Broadwalk.
[jaygami1986, 19/08/2009] Well this review is focusing on more of my time in Florida, ive been away for a while in Australia, so you will hear some reviews about that in the near future, however I felt I should finish off my whole America experience. This review is on my time at the famous Disney attraction "Disney's Hollywood Studios", which is also known as MGM Studios.
History:
Disney's MGM studios were officially opened in 1989, and spans approximately 135 acres in size. It has become one of the main tourist attractions Disney has to offer, attracting millions of people all year round. The parks concept came from

[tartlette, 21/11/2008] The first theme park on my trip to Orlando was Typhoon Lagoon. I had last been there in about 1992 so was interested to see it again. Typhoon Lagoon is part of the Disney family and was opened in 1989. The idea behind the park is that it was created as the result of a huge storm which caused the rapids to form and the boats to be blown there from a nearby fishing village. As with everything Disney, this is another land of make believe!
LOCATION:
Typhoon Lagoon is part of the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. You can reach Disney World many ways, although we used hire car. Driving there

[tartlette, 11/11/2008] Disney World, or more particularly the Magic Kingdom, was the second visit of my recent holiday in Florida. I have been to Disney a few times before but not for many years. I was with three friends on holiday, two of whom had been before and one who hadn't. We were all keen to relive our childhoods and meet Mickey again!
LOCATION:
Walt Disney World has to be the most famous theme park in the world. It is located in Orlando and is fairly easy to find. If you travel along the I4 (the main road through Orlando) then the Walt Disney World Resort is signposted clearly from the road. Once in t

[sasborilla, 14/07/2008] I would suggest having plenty of money and time. This theme park is packed with lots to do from the smallest to the oldest person. There is all characters from the Disney movies to meet and greet. There are lots of amusement rides, with thrills to enjoy. Here you will find lots of shows packed with singers and performers.
[elspeth334, 09/01/2008] MGM Studios is the smallest of the Disney Parks but still has a lot to offer whetheryou are a movie buff or just looking for a fun day out. A day trip can cost in the regionof £35 but you do get a lot for your money but a hopper pass which gives you accessto all the Disney parks is by far the best value. At the entrance to the park you can pick up maps wheelchairs buggies or hire a locker for the day.
There are many great things to see and do including
Star Tours this is a thrill packed ride which sends you zooming through hyperspace and battling imperial starfighters so you can relive the

[frankiecesca, 03/01/2008] Epcot is the park that is known for having the huge space globe in it. Or at least thats the only way I could remember which park it was until I got a bit older!!
The park has free shuttle buses to reach it from the main Disney hotels and a large car park if you are driving in. Park tickets are included in the Ultimate tickets which you can buy in the UK before you leave for Orlando and this is the best way to get the best prices on tickets.
The park is more of a scientific and educationla type of park with lots of attraction that involve space. An attraction not to miss is ''Mission: sp

[frankiecesca, 03/01/2008] Animal Kingdom park is the second 'Kingdom' park at Disney and hence the name has lots of animals involved!
The park has a concept where there are opportunities to watch animals and get up close to them at many places. There are lots of little areas where you can just sit and watch them go abou their business plus you can fgo on one of their attractions which is a safari where you can get really close to some of the animals such as Rhinos, Elephants and Lions. A great photo chance so have your cameras ready and try and get a seat on the sides rather than in the middle if you know you're goi

[frankiecesca, 14/12/2007] The hotel is not one of the cheaper Disney resorts which is to be expected due to what the hotel provides - however it is well worth a t leats one visit if you can manage to afford it!
The staff are great and the hotel is stunning - the amenities available are excellent and overall you can really chill out whilst staying here!
The hotel itself opened in 2001 on the 16th of april so it has been around for quite some time - overall rooms at this hotel can be booked for approximately £60-70 per person per night on a room only basis. However if you want that all important Savannah room this can

It can also be reached via Epcot Drive off of I-4. The best method of transport is the Free Disney resort bus's which can be picked up from your Any Disney world hotel, Downtown Disney or the transport station.
-----------THE PARK----------
Disney MGM Studios is my families 2nd Favourite Disney world Park. This park is not as large as the others but if you love movies its not to be missed. The park is about bringing the movies, TV, music, t

My self and family stayed at the all stars movie resort Nov 2006 and this was our first Disney hotel experience and it was worth every penny. We will visit this hotel again in June 2007.
This hotel is very good value. The hotel is based on the movies theme and buildings so every where you look you can find giant characters from the movies like woody, Dalmatians etc. Take a walk round the whole resort you can get some great pictures.
The hotel has two heated pools, an arcade, play area, food court, Disney shop and several small Disney traders visit the hotel i.e. the pi

You arrive at the park through the Plaza where you can pick up wheelchairs, buggies park maps or hire a locker for the day. Straight ahead of you is Spaceship Earth that looks for all the world like a giant golf ball it is in fact the history of communication through the ages sponsored by AT&T a continuous moving ride. The queues are usually very long but it is worth the wait, disabled guests are taken out the
