[25.06.2006] This "5-star" hotel helped establish the Maldives on the tourist maps" and it's still a trendsetter in the Maledives after a 2004 "extensive makeover". The new spa offers in particular "revitalising water-based treatments". Being located on its own private island, the Korumba is a "peaceful haven" in a "beautiful laidback location". However, the hotel offers a lot of "distractions" with seven restaurants and a bar for "romantic sundowners". The water-sports centre is "well-equipped". All the villas and bungalows "face the beach" and are full of "stylish comfort" with "polished" wooden floors and outdoor shower.
