[Luicious, 14/02/2011] I stayed here quite by accident, I was supposed to stay at budget inn next door but they fluffed my booking so i went to these guys, very new hotel, modern, the rooms are small but very clean and so comfortable, its in Jalan Alor right next to the food areas and the shopping in Bukit Bintang is a stroll away. Would recommend easy, couldn't find it on the website here and I dont know if they have a website but they facebook page is pretty cool.

[truckeruk, 27/04/2010] This is a copy of a review that I did for another travel site.
Booked the hotel on the strength of the reviews on trip advisor, as we were looking for centrally located hotel that would give us the room we needed as we were traveling with our 2yr grandson.
Booked a junior suite, direct with the hotel and got a cracking deal as they were still offering discounted rates due to the newness of the hotel. Normally we would use the Mandarin Oriental but the rooms there are quite small and for sheer value for money this hotel made sense.
What can I say about this hotel that has not already been sa

[TrillianAustria, 01/01/2010] We paid 168 MYR and 25 MYR for an extrabed. We could not switch off the aircon so it was pretty cold and noisy in the night. The bathroom was huge but the room was not. The hotel is near the Petronas Twin Towers and the KL Tower. The Raja Chulan Monorail Station is only 10 min walk away. Considering the price we would stay here again.
[maydaymusic, 03/12/2009] My husband and I have always stay in this hotel when we come to Kuala Lumpur. Great Location. About 5-10 min walk to TwinTowers, Close to all the major shopping mall. Very convenient. The staffs are great. We love the room that is facing to the Twin Towers. Breakfast is GOOD! lots of choices and divine. We have lots of great memories here.
[koshkha, 25/09/2009] Kuala Lumpur is a city of fantastic hotels with exceptional service at great value prices. I've been three times and always come away completely amazed by how good the service ethic is in the hotel sector. However, even my high expectations were exceeded on my most recent visit when I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental.
I was in the city for a trade fair and very glad that the colleague who'd organised the trip had decided that we'd not perform well at the fair if we had to stay in a nasty cheap hotel. So she had booked us all into executive club rooms way up on the higher floors. I'm not sur

[manojmita, 08/09/2009] Had recently travelled to KL with my family and stayed at Maya Hotel. I was very impressed with the room decor, friendly service staff and general ambience of the hotel. Would recommend this hotel for guests wanting to be close to Petronas Tower and the shopping areas.
[roseycheeks, 12/03/2009] June 2008, my fiance and I went to Kuala Lumpur for our friends wedding. We flew with Etihad Airways from London Heathrow and stopover in Abu Dhabi for a few hours and then from Abu Dhabi to Kuala Lumpur International Airport. I do not suggest anyone to take this indirect flight because it takes a long time to transit at Abu Dhabi airport and the airport is really quite small and boring, but unless you wanted to save some money. The best way is to go with Malaysia Airline and they fly directly from London Heathrow everyday to Kuala Lumpur.
It was our first time to be in Malaysia and we neede

[daylelisahall, 08/10/2008] I visited Kuala Lumpur in 2006 with my boyfriend and while we were there, we decided to visit the various attractions. One of these attractions was the Menara Tower.
About The Menara Tower
The construction period for the Menara Tower was between the years of 1992 and 1995 with the Tower first being opened to the public on the 23rd July 1996.
The Menara Tower is used for communication purposes and has an antenna that reaches 421 metres (1,381 feet). This makes the Menara Tower the fifth tallest tower in the world and the largest building in the while of Malaysia.

[Jamie73, 20/01/2008] Me and my girlfriend went to holiday to Kuala Lumper, and whilst we were there we visited the Minera Tower.
The Tower.
The construction of the Minera Tower was in 1991and was opened to the public on 23rd July 1996.
The Minera Tower is the 5th tallest telecommunications tower in the world and the tallest in the country of Malaysia. The Tower stands at 415 m above the ground level and is at the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
When you enter the Tower there is ticket desks and several booths and stalls selling small trinkets and souvenirs.
You have choice of what you wish to do, either the revolvin

[koshkha, 16/07/2007] Kuala Lumpur is a great city and one where visitors are spoilt for choice with so many and varied options for entertainment. Being a country girl, I find big cities drain the life out of me very quickly and I can easily get overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle. When that happens, I'll try to find somewhere clean, quiet and peaceful to feed my need to escape. If it's beautiful and interesting as well, then that's a big bonus.
Such escape might seem like a tall order in a full on high octane shopping frenzy city like KL so the purpose of this review is to share my top tip for regaining your s

[daylelisahall, 30/06/2007] I visited Borneo and Kuala Lumpur last year and being a massive fan of animals, myself and my boyfriend visited all the animal related attractions. One of these was the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park.
Where Is It?
Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is situated in the Lake Gardens area of Kuala Lumpur which is close to the Orchid Gardens and the Tun Abdul Razek Memorial. The bird park is a little bit out of the main town in Kuala Lumpur as we did try to follow a map and find our way there on foot but after getting lost and asking a couple of locals which way we needed to go, they told us we would be better g

[Jamie73, 27/06/2007] The History of the Petronas Towers.
This was once classified as the worlds tallest structure but due to changes in measuring these things it falls a little short today to the Sears Tower in Chicago.
These were designed by a Norwegian Dawid Muano and the construction got underway in 1995 and was completed in 1998. The 88 floors are mostly constructed of re-enforced concrete with a Stainless steel and Glass front. When we arrived through the ticket collection point we were shown a short video of the construction. In the video it stated that the design resembled that of a Islamic motif and was

[toombsey, 17/05/2007] To the west of KL city centre is the Orchid Garden located in the Lake Garden area, which is a popular visitor attraction. We visited late one afternoon and had an hour here before they closed at 5pm.
Whilst we were there, there were very few people about. I think most people had more sense than to be there in the middle of a hot afternoon. Once you enter the gardens you can stroll around at your leisure. The flowers here are just amazing and so beautiful. There are many different colours, sizes and shapes. Some grown from the ground, others hang in baskets and some seem to sprout from almo

[digital_explorer, 27/04/2007] Being a Civil Engineer, I am always fascinated with mega-structures - buildings, transport networks, tunnels, bridges, towers, dams, and other construction works having interesting characteristics; not only with the height but also in terms of how the structure was built as well as the amenities and features within it. One of them is the popular Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) as the second tallest building in the world which I visited in April 2004.
The Twins (Petronas) stripped off the crown from Sears Tower, Chicago (US) where I also visited in 1997 a year before the Twi

[toombsey, 18/04/2007] The Petronas Towers are pretty magnificent. I have seen my fair share of tall buildings, but this building or rather these buildings are truly spectacular.
By day they are two gleaming metal and glass structures reaching up into the sky, but by night they come alive.
The shapes of the building are quite different from any other building I have come across, and the fact that there are two of them makes it all the more distinctive.
They are the worlds tallest twin structures and reach a height of 452 meters, with 88 stories. In the middle, on levels 41 and 42, is the skybridge that join

[toombsey, 16/04/2007] The hotel is pretty expensive by SE Asia standards (I paid approx $180 USD), but compared to similar hotel in Europe is very reasonable for the quality and service you receive.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough, there simply wasn't anything I could really fault about it. Would I stay again? You bet!
[koshkha, 10/10/2006] I spent one night at the Hilton in Kuala Lumpur in December 2004 but one night was enough to make me want to sell my house and all my possessions and go and live at this fantastic hotel. One night was enough for Hilton's Asia-region 'flagship' hotel to burn itself into my mind when many other hotels had long been pushed aside in my goldfish-like memory and replaced with thoughts of what I want for dinner and whether I remembered to feed the cats.
I visited this at the end of the first week of a three-week business trip around the Far East and the Indian Sub-continent. Generally one week int
