Me and my girlfriend went to holiday to Kuala Lumper,and whilst we were there we visited the Minera Tower.
The Tower.
The construction of the Minera Tower was in 1991and was opened to the public on 23rd July 1996.
The Minera Tower is the 5th tallest telecommunications tower in the world and the tallest in the country of Malaysia. The Tower stands at 415 m above the ground level and is at the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
When you enter the Tower there is ticket desks and several booths and stalls selling small trinkets and souvenirs.
You have choice of what you wish to do, either the revolving restaurant or the observation desk.
We chose the observation deck which cost us about 15 Ringetts ( 3 pounds),and included in this cost is the audio portable tape which acts as a guide.Thereis also no time limit on the Tower so at this price it is a real bargain.
The Tower has a very fast lift system which take you to the top and once there you can see all the city below for miles around.
On the observation deck there are plenty of photographs of the city and it relates to the window you are viewing out of.
So this makes it really easy with the audio guide to pin point many structures around the city.
Facilities
There are many toilets inside the Tower and there are one of each on the ground floor and also on the Observation deck. There is a ATM machine on the Upper Ground Floor.
There is a Café and Digital Photo Service.
The Tower is open from 9am until 10 pm everyday of the year.
