[noranbakrie, 17/06/2010] Bodhi Tree is a sublime Oasis in Kolkata. If you are an Art Appreciator, you will definitely enjoy their interior and how they put tiny beautiful details in decorations, I know I did. Service is swell, we had a lovely master suite where me and my friends have our own living room, dining room and kitchen. My room was perfect, I feel like bringing almost all its furniture back home :) The only concern was its location, which was pretty far from CBD, but there is metro subway station about 5-mins walking, only takes a couple of Rupees to take you to your choice of sightseeing. [meikelboom, 16/06/2010] It was a great time. The location is great as it is very near the metro ( 5 minute walk). The staff are welcoming and courteous and timely with requests. The rooms have a warm feel to them and the air conditioning is wonderful. The rooms are spacious and the beds are also very comfortable. The hotel itself is very nice to look around in and there is a peaceful open-air garden which is good for relaxing, reading etc.

I would definitely stay there again, the price offers great value (I also stayed at Chrome in Kolkata city where I got little more for almost double the price). There was a bit of a weird energy around payments at the end due to some confusion on their behalf relating to whether the cab fare had been added (on this note, I suggest you organise your own as the fee was very expensive by Indian standards), staff were very attentive (at times a little smothering!), the food was quite good.
