The ruins of Knaresborough Castle stand high on a hillside overlooking the River Nidd and the town of Knaresborough. This Castle dates from around the year 1100. This site is also the location of the Court House Museum which houses artefacts and has displays that are relevant to both this Castle and the town of Knaresborough in general. This attraction is open from Easter through to the end of September from 10.30am until 5pm. It is closed during the Winter. The admission prices are as below: Adults - £2.50 (3.75 Euros) Children - £1.30 (2.45 Euros) Concessions – £1.50 (2.25 Euros) A family ticket is also available for two adults and two children - £6.50 (9.75 Euros) |
