Description: Mother Shipton was a prophetess born some 500 years ago. Mother Shipton's Cave is a tourist attraction built around the cave she was born in. The attraction include The Petrifying Well (which has been attracting visitors since 1630), The Old Wishing Well of Good Fortune, a Museum of figures and models, a mile long, riverside park with picnic areas, a woodland walk , tea rooms and gift shop, an adventure playground and Trail Quiz.

The attraction is open from March to October, 10.00am-5.30pm daily.

Entry fees are: Adult £5.50
Senior Citizens £4.50
Children (under 4's free) £3.75
Family £15.95 (2 adults and two children or one adult and three children. additional children £2.00 each)

All day parking is included in the admittance fee and you can leave the park to visit the rest of Knaresborough and go back in on the same ticket.
