[martanikolova, 06/01/2012] Rila monastery is another place that deserves to be seen in Bulgaria. It is located about an hour and a half away from Sofia and is surrounded by the beautiful trees of Rila Mountain. It is a great monastery with an interesting history and amazing architecture. It comprises a living area, a yard, a library and a main church. The most interesting part about the church is the iconostasis with its wood-carving. If you like this sort of sightseeing - don't miss this place!
