[joveneli, 07/07/2011] Hotel Podol Plaza is located in the beautiful city of Kiev - Ukraine. Incredible hotel! Very convenient hotel - close to many attractions. I am very pleased with my stay there. The rooms are furnished with luxury and have all the amenities. Staff is very good. The restaurant has a varied menu. The atmosphere is conducive for relaxation and business. I recommend it this hotel.
[Glifo, 13/03/2011] The hotel is conveniently located in one of the central squares of Kiev. It has an old appearance inside and the room furniture is quite old.
In Front of the hotel there is the huge columb that is the icon of the town . Metro station is quite close (100 meters) and the ticket cost is if I remember well about 20 cents.
Taking the escalators of the metro is a difficult exercise - I had the impression that these run at at least the double of the usual speed of escalators in Western Europe !
The most interesting experience was for me to take a taxi and arrive to a boat restaurant on the Dnjeper ri

[Jane72, 04/12/2009] This is my fifth visit to Kiev and the third stay in Diplomat. It's very cosy and well-decorated. Makes feel at home. I'm quite satisfied with the quality of service and the price. Very good!
[Marcogross, 04/12/2009] I'm Marc, french tourist. Hotel is placed in the city center near the University square. All rooms are larges and tastefully decorated. The internet wi-fi is free! Good english breakfast every morning. Bravo!
[hioctane, 29/10/2008] Hotel Vozdvyzhensky bills itself as a 4-star boutique hotel and while it could be classed as such in some aspects (stylish lobby and restaurant), in others (room size and decorations) it offers no more than would be expected from a solid 3-star hotel.
The staff are pleasant and most of them speak at least some English.
Breakfast on offer is varied, buffet-style, but with possibility of ordering from the a la carte menu.
I stayed in a 'Superior Single' room (i.e. it has been refurbished) which was pleasant and comfortable although the bed was curiously short (1.8m long only) and the door to the
