debmercury, 22/09/2011] The Lodore falls hotel is in Keswick it is close to Derwent Water and the fells. Some of the rooms and the bar area actually look out onto Derwent Water. The Lodore Falls is actually in the hotel grounds and a lot of Lake District walks are started / finished / here so it is a perfect base.
Checking In
The reception area is to the left as you enter the hotel. The receptionist who checked us in was very smartly dressed and polite. She told us breakfast times, showed us the restaurant / which is also the breakfast room asked if we wanted a wake up call and booked us in for our four course ev
