[Mikesh, 02/11/2011] Excellent View. We stopped here on the way when we went for a day tour. The driver said it was a must and definitely worth it. The view is awesome and its not out of the way if you are going to phuket town from patong or vice versa. There was a guy with eagle for people to take pictures with(100bhat to put the eagle on you and click 4-5 pics). The way he had kept the eagles wasnt a good site and there was no one to tell him anything.
[johneve, 04/12/2009] Anyone looking for the finest beach on Phuket should go to Kata. And Mom Tri's Boathouse is surely the best place to stay there. It's sister hotel on the nearby headland, Mom Tri's Villa Royale, is also exceptional. Mom Tri is a famous Thai architect with exceptional taste, and he takes a personal interest in these places.

[johneve, 03/04/2009] In high season (winter) Kata hasis super calm and clear water... in the rainy season (northern summer) it becomes a good surfing beach. And even then it only rains occasionally. I'm out there among the waves every year...
