Our hotel is situated in the middle of the mountains and boasts spacious non-smoking rooms with a marvellous view of the surrounding nature. We provide our guests with a variety of facilities, including a free parking lot and an exclusive spa area with various well-being facilities meeting the highest standards.\n\nStaff members at the hotel are able to welcome you in one of the following languages: German, Italian, English, Russian and French.Our hotel\'s non-smoking rooms include 2 single rooms and 15 double rooms (12 of these can be adjusted to fit a maximum of 4 beds). They are decorated in a classical Alpine style with wooden furniture, and the standard room size is 33 m² (most of the rooms). The use of the spa area is included from the third night.The restaurant boasts an outstanding quality of food attracting people from all over the region. The menu can be adapted to guests\' special requirements (including vegetarian dishes, dishes with a low level of sugar, etc. - this has to be communicated in advance). The hotel is a member of the Tyrolean Sommelier Association, which is a guarantee for the high quality of served beverages.\n\nBreakfast is served from 08:00 to 09:30, lunch from 11:30 to 13:30, and dinner from 18:30 to 20:30.\n\nPlease note that a restaurant table is not automatically part of your booking.\n\nMake sure to add a note or let the hotel know in advance if you are planning to have lunch/dinner in the restaurant. The availability of tables cannot always be guaranteed.The village of Kartitsch is situated in the tourist area of Hochpusteral - Eastern Tyrol. In the village you will find a post office, bank with ATM, shops, several cafes and a sport centre with tennis courts. There is also tourist information available.\n\nThe distance to the Italian border is approximately 10 km and Venice is approximately 3 hours drive. Famous cities such as Innsbruck and Salzburg are reachable in around 2 hours. In our surroundings we have the biggest National Park of Central Europe Hohe Tauern.\n\nWe have number of sport activities available in the region such as: skiing areas, cross country tracks and bicycle, hiking and Nordic walking tracks. There is also fishing areas, a 27-hole golf course within an hour drive, rafting; canoeing and much more.The nearest airport is situated in Innsbruck (approximately 170 km) or alternatively Munich airport in Germany (approximately 290 km). \n\nThe train stations Tassenbach or Sillian are 10 minutes drive from the hotel and they connect this region with main cities.\n\nThe nearest motorway is 80 km away (A13 Brenner). Assistance in car and bicycle rental is provided on early request.Our family-run, 3-star superior hotel is situated next to the village of Kartitsch in East Tyrol. Here you can enjoy an unspoilt environment, walks in the surrounding nature and exploring the fantastic Dolomites and Carnic Alps.\n\nThe restaurant is famous for its wonderful cuisine, not to mention the outstanding wine cellar with a unique choice of wines.
