[more]The Sundance Lodge is a deluxe, full service property, located at the base of the ski lifts at Sun Peaks Resort, located 40 minutes north of Kamloops. Fantastic skiing and snowsports abound in the winter while in the summer season, there are a multitude of activities including golf, mountain biking, and trail rides. The lodge features well appointed studios - with two queen beds and a mini-kitchen, and lofts - with a private sleeping area on a second floor for 2 and a pull out sofa in the living room as well as a mini kitchen. All of the rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee / tea maker TV, and radio and can accommodate up to quad occupancy based on sharing existing beds. Bottoms Restaurant is famous for their ribs and is the place for families with the largest kids menu on the mountain. Family casino night and "Apres Ski" on the slopeside patio are also very popular. The property has a western-style décor and within the complex there are retail shops, an exercise room, and outdoor hot-tub. The hotel is closed throughout both April and May and November.
