[fizzytom, 14/07/2007] In a town that has no hotels (checked June 2007), homestays are the only accommodation available in Telavi and Homestay Tushishvili is one that is very popular. When backpacking in this region you will come across many people who have stayed there or know of someone who has.
The accommodation is comfortable and appealing and the hosts are excellent.
The location is perfect for getting into town and makes it easy to find transport to some of the tourist attractiions in the area such as Alaverdi Cathedra, Ikalto Monastery and the Tsinandale estate and vineyards.
