The Outrigger Keauhou Beach sits directly on the Kona Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Part of the seven-story hotel is actually built over tidal pools where Hawaiian green sea turtles glide through the tranquil waters. This premier resort recently underwent a comprehensive renovation, reopening in March 1999. All guest rooms, public areas, landscaping, meeting rooms and restaurants received extensive renovations and refurbishment. Today, it is one of the newest and finest mid-priced properties on the Big Island. There are 309 rooms, three of which are Royal Suites, four indoor meeting rooms with 6,300 square feet of space, a day spa, ocean view fitness room, oceanfront restaurant and bar, swimming pool, six tennis courts and three large outdoor function areas.
