[galibali, 25/08/2009] After visiting Dolmabahce Palace(the new sultan's palace) this one was really interesting place to visit, somehow like a blast from the past. However, the Sultan used old christian Byzantine palace as base and re-built some extra rooms and added typical Arabic details. This was the residence of Turkish sultans till late 19th century. The place is near Agya Sofia and has a great view to Bosporus. However, the palace itself is not the most impressive thing to see.
