Frommers recommends a visit to the Ibrahim Pasa Museum which is located in a palace that "was built by Sinan" and is located on a "very special place", overlooking the Hippodrome. It was given as a present to Ibrahim Pasa by Suleyman the Magnificient, who was not only his "beloved and trusted boyhood friend", but also his brother-in-law and who made him "commander in chief".
