[galibali, 08/09/2009] Hotel Assos is rated as 4-stars, but Turkish rating is a bit different than European and according my opinion it responds to European 3-stars hotel. It is situated on the top center near Laleli and near main tram station. It is in a walking distance from Grand Bazaar and Sultan Ahmet. The hotel itself is clean, but a little shabby and definitely needs a refreshing. It is down the street and the curve is quite big, so it is hard to bring your suitcase. The lobby is OK, but a little florid for my taste. The staff is friendly and speaks English. The restaurant is in the last floor and from there [more]
