Several major tourist attractions are located in the immediate area, including Blue Mosque, Topkapi palace, Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazaar. There are also plenty of restaurants, shops and cafes in the vicinity.
The hotel opened for guests in 2007, when the property underwent significant renovation efforts, but its antique architecture was preserved. There are 16 traditionally decorated and air-conditioned rooms at Asmali including two suites all of which are en suite. Rooms feature wireless internet access, satellite television, DVD players, minibar, refrigerators and hair dryers. Non-smoking rooms and baby cots are available at request.
Breakfast and dinner are served on the open-air terrace which reveals direct views on Sea of Marmara and Blue Mosque. The reception desk is open 24 hours a day.
