[more]Dating from 1864 Glengarry Parish Church stands on the A87 trunk road just outside Invergarry, although it is set back from the main road. . It was extended in 1896 when the present tower was added and has always had a close association with the McDonnell Clan of nearby Glengarry Castle.
It is still used today for regular services and visiting is possible throughout the summer months when the church is usually open during daytime hours from May to September. Admission is free.
