[giannini, 13/12/2010] We've just returned from four days spent in Innsbruck at this wonderful hotel. The service from the staff both in reception and the restaurant could not be bettered. They were friendly and charming. A special mention for Ulli who was most helpful and kowledgable with a charming smile and wry sense of humour.
We thoroughly reccommend the Goldener Adler, the food was exceptional. We'll be back.
[gloglof, 13/12/2010] Hotel, services and staff corresponding to Best Western quality and to the hotel starring.
Ideal location. Confortable and quiet room. Excellent breakfast.
[ChrisUK, 04/12/2010] Not in the heart of it but everywhere is walkable. The room was slightly drab but it was clean and did the job. The reception desk is oddly up the stairs but the guy who dealt with me was very pleasant.
Bed, shower, room itself all okay. Nothing to complain about but nothing particularly nice either.
I would stay here again but if visiting Innsbruck I would advise trying to find somewhere a little closer to the centre if you can. Very convenient for people like myself who travelled by train though.
[muriel178, 17/08/2010] We stayed in Innsbruck a couple of days and were greatly impressed by this cosy hotel in the city centre. The hotel is located in the pedestrian area but a public garage is close by and valet service is available on request. All staff was very helpful and courteous. Our room was small, but clean and nicely furnished. The house has a wonderfully charming character and we will gladly stay there again.
[afolley, 15/08/2010] I had a very pleasant overnight stay at the Goldener Adler hotel on Friday evening. The staff were very helpful and very friendly and the bedroom and dining room both very good.
[bezsuz, 16/05/2010] Our initial experience of this place was not good as we could not figure out how to find the hotel, which is located in the old town with limited vehicle access. We eventually parked outside of the old town area and walked to the hotel and was told we could ignore the no left turn sign signs that say you can't turn in. Once we got settled in, we found the room spacious and well appointed, the bed was extreemly comfortable and the ambience remarkable. We walked around the old part of town, people were friendly and the architecture was inspiring. The old town is well worth the visit.

[jessieleo, 04/11/2007] We took an eight day coach tour which entailed staying 4 days in Switzerland and 4 in Austria. We absolutely adored both places but ever so slightly preferred the rugged terrain of Austria. We spent a day in Innsbruck and liked what we saw.
The Marie Theresien Strasse has splendid architecture wherever you look. There is a triumphant, decorative arch at one end and a fine statue. The scenery surrounding Innsbruck is beautiful and you can see it all around the town. The air is really clear and fresh partially due to strict regulations regarding traffic. Traffic must turn off their ignition a

[sharkel, 07/04/2007] The Dollinger is a family run traditional Austrian Inn. Located close to the town centre on Hallerstrasse, at the foot of one of the surrounding ranges, the Nordkette, the hotel is ideally located for your time in Innsbruck.
The hotel is set against a breathtaking mountain forest background and looks inviting from the outside. The quaint looking and flower covered exterior adding to the charm.
Inside, the reception was pleasant and comfortable, with a real homely feel and after approximately 7 hours on a train from Vienna and a rather unfortunate incident involving a lost camera and phot
