The Courtyard Indianapolis Downtown is a three star hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana. The hotel is near the city centre and close to the highway. The Indianapolis International Airport is within a short drive of the hotel. The hotel has onsite parking against costs. There are 295 guest rooms and 2 suites divided over 15 floors. The entire hotel is non-smoking and pets are not allowed. Guests can check in from 3 pm.
All the guest rooms have a flat screen cable television, desk, mini refrigerator, air conditioning, living/sitting area, alarm clock, iron, ironing board, coffee and tea making facilities, complimentary high speed internet access and telephone. There is daily housekeeping service and guests can use the onsite laundry. There is also valet dry cleaning.
At the hotel is a bistro which serves breakfast and dinner. Guests can also go to T.G.I Friday, High Velocity and Osteria Pronto for lunch and dinner. There is an fitness centre where guests can go for a workout and there is a swimming pool. There are 10 meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of 475 people.
The Ambler's - Becker's Texaco Service Station dates back to 1933 and served the travellers on the Route 66. Later on it became the Marathon Oil Station and under this name has served customers until 1998.
In the meantime the building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places and restored to the way it would have looked during the 1940's.
The building serves now as a Route 66 welcome and information center.
