We visited Qutab Minar or sometimes spelt Khuttab Minar on our last day in Delhi. The tower is actually visible from miles around as it is the highest tower in India. The tower was built in the 12th century and in the surrounding area you will find the ruins of Indias first mosque, which is actually quite well maintained. When my husband, son and I visited Jaipur last year we had hired a car, the driver was very well aquainted with jaipur and its attractions therefore we had no problems in getting to and visiting all the main attractions.
