[7622jon, 15/08/2011] Set in the sand dunes of Ijmunden close to Amsterdam, this Holiday Inn is a tad different from what you might expect.
Rooms are fine, although I found the beds a little low, the standard of food and service was quite high, and the bar was popular with tourists and locals alike. You could sit outside in one of the shaded areas, or inside. Winds can blow the sand around a little, so judge wisely otherwise your food may be a little gritty!
Car parking is plentyful, and the view from one side of the hotel is great, but not the other - which looks towards the docks and industrial area. That said,
