[25/11/2009] This used to be a good boutique hotel with a first class restaurant. Sadly it is fading, faded and has lost its way. Grubby rooms, wallpaper hanging off, mould in the bathrooms - not period chic - just plain past it.
The restaurant is not what it was - just average now with the same menu from last year.
[25/11/2009] A pretty good hotel, (but unfortunatey on the flight path of the Airport) offering a very comfortable base to explore the island and relax and dine in some style if you wish.
Don't worry about the planes - not regular enough flights to irritate - better than the busy St Peter Port town location
[25/11/2009] Away from the beaten track, but a quiet retreat for the traveller who wants to relax and breathe. A very comfortable small hotel where formality is not uncomfortable, but adds to the ambiance. Superb food and hospitality. I have said it all.
[25/11/2009] A very modern hotel with good facilities including leisure centre. Excellent base for a motoring break and comfortable well furnished rooms. Plenty of parking.
The dining facilities were limited to a main dining room with slow service (an off night), but choice was reasonable. All in all a pleasant hotel (due to the helpful staff)
[25/11/2009] A busy, comfortable out of town, handy for the Airport, type of hotel. Comfortable rooms but a little dated in style. Good bus connections into the City, but not much activity locally so if you have to have dinner in the hotel then an expensive limited choice menu is available - explains why the dining room is quiet. There is however a good breakfast service.
Public rooms are business like, adequate, but not comfortable. The public toilets are in desperate need of refurbishment. There is a leisure centre and plenty of parking.
