Paul Gogarty has produced a shortlist of the best winter sun beach hotels for the UK newspaper 'The Daily Mail'. One of his choices is the Huvafen Fushi in the Maldives. The hotel is "decidedly chic" and represents the Maldives "as Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell like them" - i.e. with lots of therapists to "destress" the guests in the world's "first glass-walled underwater.... spa". At nighttime the Buddha Bar has DJ's "mixing sounds" and each of the 43 bungalows has a "Bose stereo sound system" as well as "plasma" TVs, the "finest" linens, an espresso machine and "floor to ceiling" windows. Each bungalow also has its own "private" pool. There are watersports and an "underwater" restaurant.
