The beach is often quite full so get down early in summer to catch a spot, also make sure you check when the tide is out/ in!

The beach is easily accesable, there are various ramps located along the entire front, aswell as asteps. It is free to go on the beach and the promenade is one of the prettiest parts of Hunstanton. It is a long beach with divided sections and when the tide is fully out you may have to walka a good 400m to reach the water edge. They allow dogs on most of the beach but there is an area where they do not and overall the beach is very clean.
The sand is soft although there are the odd thick line of stones and pebbles. The water can get very rough which causes the sediment to flare up making it quite unclear.
