Situated in Hout Bay, the World of Birds started as a small private sanctuary and has grown to include more than 400 species of birds and small animals, making it the largest such park on the African continent. The focus is not only on conservation, but also on providing city dwellers free access to these varied animals and an opportunity to interact with nature.
