Global Traveller, GTtested: The Royal Hawaiian
Francis X. Gallagher describes in the September 2007 issue of Global Traveller his stay in the Royal Hawaiian. He called the hotel the "grande dame of Waikiki" because of the ambiance of the hotel. The Royal Hawaiian
The Royal Hawaiian is known as "The Pink Palace of the Pacific". During World War II, the hotel was occupied by the "submarine crews" of "the U.S. Navy". Waikiki Super Pool on Tap at Royal Hawaiian, Sheraton Waikiki
The owners of the Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki are renovating the hotel, they spend a total of "$750 million".
