A Fodor's review presents Diamond Head Bed and Breakfast, a house that you "would love to own". This "art-filled B&B" is located "at the base of Waikiki's famous Diamond Head crater" which is "one of the city's most exclusive neighborhoods".

Every room features koa-wood furnishings with it's private bath, is "opened to a lanai" and to "a big backyard" from which you can listen to "the sounds of birds and rustling trees". For the visitors who want "a bit more privacy", Fodor's recommends to book "the ground-floor suite" with a separate living room and a queen bed bedroom.

According to Fodor's, "to experience a bit of Hawaiian history" you should book the room with an "extra-large hand-carved koa bed that once belonged to a Hawaiian princess".

"Near the Natatorium", you will find "the closest intimate beach" called Sans Souci. Waikiki is "a short stroll from the house" which is "hard to imagine".

Fodor's recommends to make the reservation "three to four months in advance".
