Travel guide extract
[Martini05, 20.12.2005] The hotel is described as "pungently characteristic" of Hong Kong with "extraordinary high standards of service". The fact that "almost all rooms" have a balcony is "unique" for Hong Kong, and the "harbour-view rooms come with binoculars". The rooms are said to be "extravagantly furnished" and "particularly comfortable" equipped with "everything from designer toiletries to high-speed internet access". There is also a "manifold range" of restaurants and bars, the ambience of which is described as "cosy" and the food of the restaurants "cutting edge trendy". The health centre "comes as a minor surprise" including a "Roman spa" style pool and doric columns.
Overall, "ambience", "staff", "location" and "cleanliness" are rated around 9 out of 10.
