Ngong Ping Cable Car is one of the tools to go to Po Lin Monastery and Tian Tan Buddha. When I arrived at Tung Chung ticket counter, I found that there are many different types of packages. Some of them include the 3D movie tickets(HKD169, approximate EUR 17.04), when I was making my decision, the staff told us, it is 2pm now, and there is not enough time for you to complete all the tasks in the ticket package. So I finally chose the basic round ticket (HKD107, EUR 10.79) for the Cable Car.
Although it was Saturday, I only queued 10 minutes to get into the car. And the staff said as there were not many people, we don't have to share one cable car with other people.
The weather was fine on the day we visited, so during the 25 minutes journey, I could see the Hong Kong International Airport and Nei Lak Shan clearly. We took a lot of photos. When our nearly reached the terminal, we could see the Buddha clearly. We were so excited at the moment. This is one of the reasons people choose to get there by Cable Car other than by bus.
