[04/11/2007] Lucinda Law reviews in the October Issue of Business Traveller Asia Pacific her stay in the Renaissance Harbour View. She received "warm greetings" when she arrived in this hotel. The hotel underwent renovations during her stay, but this was "skilfully handled" and "caused no inconvenience". The already reopened Lobby Lounge has now "special lightning effects".
It takes only "minutes to the Wanchai MTR station and Star Ferry Pier" from the hotel.
She points out, that 65 percent of the rooms have "panoramic views of Victoria Harbour" while the rest "overlooks a garden and the city". Her room offered harbour view she thinks this was a "highlight" of her stay. The Marriott Revive Bed allowed "total relaxation".
Her Lunch in one of the restaurants "exceeded expectations". She points out, the "heated outdoor pool", which belongs to the Grand Hyatt, but is opened also to guests staying at the Renaissance Hotel.
The hotel "provides excellent service" and its "strategic location" makes it a "superb springboard for work and play".
