[08/07/2007] The author rated this Renaissance Harbour View Hotel as one star out of the maximum three stars. "This large, 43-story" hotel is situated on the Wan Chai harbor right next to the Convention and Exhibition Centre. This hotel is "quite busy" because it "caters largely" for the functions at the Convention and Exhibition Centre. It has the "largest outdoor hotel swimming pool and a garden" in Hong Kong, which is shared between the Grand Hyatt hotel. The Wan Chai Star Ferry is "just a couple of minutes' walk" which goes to Tsim Sha Tsui and Hung Hom. It has "the same facilities and advantages" but at a "lower price" than the Grand Hyatt. "65% of the rooms boast outstanding views of the water" and it also has an "expansive, white-marbled lobby" which is "airy with views of the harbor".
