[HeritageTours, 01/11/2010] Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve one of the oldest game reserves in Africa is truly a gem, with its history of King Shaka using it as his personal hunting ground. Game Capture translocation done by Ezemvelo Kzn Wildlife and ofcourse the fact that the Big 5 are found here. The "oldest game reserve" in South Africa is only "three hours by car" from Durban airport and has "some of the most dramatic wilderness" in the country. At 96000 hectares it is "the size of Greater London" but only "a third is open to tourists". The remainder is accessible only with "trained game guards".
