According to the author "this is South Africa's smartest new hotel". The hotel offers "eight studios" designed "with a stylish mix of shagreen, leather or steel furniture". They are decorated with "French, Russian or Chinese antiques" as well as "exotic shell- or animal-hide-framed mirrors, Indian headboards and a scattering of white armchairs and sofas". The "big" bathrooms feature "taupe-coloured marble". Studio 5 offers a "Zen-ish sunken bath" and studio 3 has a "large claw-footed tub in the middle of the room".
