Description: The Natural History Museum of Crete houses numerous displays that relate to the fauna and flora of the island of Crete.

The museum is constructed so that visitors can wander through realistic looking reconstructions of caves, beaches and high mountains to replicate the scenery found on the island. Among the exhibits are models of animal and plant species divided according to their ecological groupings.

It is open daily from 10am until 2pm and from 10am to 7pm on Sundays. Admission is 3 Euros for adults, children can enter free if accompanied by an adult.
