Description: The Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum consists of 8 different buildings which include 6 that are of historical importance to Mark Twain and his stories and another 2 which offer interactive museums. Apart from the actual house in which Samuel L. Clemens grew up visitors can see the Tom & Huck statue which dates back to 1926, the John M. Clemens Justice of Peace Office and the Pilaster House that is also known as Grant's Drugstore. Further there is the house of Huck Finn, the Becky Thatcher House and the Museums Gallery as well as the 1930' Boyhood Home Gift shop. Items on display include Mark Twain's famous white suit, photographs of real people he used as characters in his stories and 15 paintings by Norman Rockwell.

Open daily with the exception of Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day.
