| Description: | The Medina of Hammamet is located beside the waters edge. Aimed mainly at tourist trade, it features Islamic architecture. The Medina is not large and consists of white washed buildings which all look the same. Doors have knockers in the form of a hand; these are meant to ward off bad luck.
