[Denis197, 14/09/2010] Before booking my package holiday offer, I checked on the various web site hotel reviews. I have to say that we were not disappointed. The hotel was everything we could wish for. Despite a very delayed flight from Belfast, and arrival in the hotel at around 7.30am, the staff were ready to take our bags and show us immediately into the breakfast room. The rooms have TV and are clean and comfortable with towels changed every day and bedding every two to three days. Air conditioning is available as an extra, as is the use of the small safe in the room. The pool is cleaned every day. Breakfast is

[househusband, 01/07/2010] We arrived to a warm welcome and immediately received our wrist bands so we could start using the all inclusive facilities straight away. We were taken to our room and was surprised to find we had been given a large family room which was extremely nice but it had one major draw back for us ,no balcony. We went back to reception and explained we would like a balcony and was told that although they were full that night they would move us next morning which they did no trouble or fuss .Our new room was lovely with a large balcony overlooking the front of the hotel so although we was now facing the

[carolaparo, 26/12/2008] It was very peaceful and nice hotel with very, very nice personnel.
[lisbet, 18/11/2008] Stayed for 2 weeks at this hotel in November 2003. The weather wasn't brilliant so the beach (and activities which others have described) wasn't at it's best. The reps told us that this was the first year that British travel companies had used the Mediterranee - hence the majority of guests when I was there were German, Italian or French, and as they were mainly elderly at this time of year, not many of them spoke English, so it was mostly difficult to get to know people. I did feel that there was some resentment to the influx of Brits! One frau was very rude about the 'rooksack' I carrie

[frankiecesca, 15/05/2008] On my recent work trip to Tunisia I stayed in two different hotels - I also then visited another so many and had a look around. One of the ones that I visited was this one which is actually known as 'El Mouradi El Menzah hotel. This is shortened to El Menzah to make it easier!! This was the first hotel apart from the first one we stayed in that we went to have a look at and this was because it was located right next door. The hotel next door is the El Mouradi Hammamet and the two hotels are actually very similar in style too with their pools back to back and just seperated by a fence and a gat

[merkat, 12/05/2008] The Hammamet Medina is smaller than one in Sousse, so it is easier to find your way in and out, but there's still a good chance for getting lost in a maze of narrow streets. Medina walls were built in late 15th century by Hafsites in order to protect from outside danger and to provide safe and undisturbed living within its' walls. Therefore it became the center of trade in the region, but now days it became plain tourist trap. Architecture might not be the most impressive, but it is in excellent condition. I am a big fan of old fortresses and I liked this one, although it's small and too touri

[frankiecesca, 25/04/2008] On my recent trip to Tunisia we stayed at two different hotels - one of them was this one, the El Mouradi Hammamet. The hotel is actually located in Yasmine Hammamet and is located just across the road from the beach and is only around the corner from the local amusement park, Carthage Land. The hotel is a 5 star hotel and is sold on a either a bed and breakfast, half board or full board basis.
When we arrived at the hotel it was already dark as we had travelled in on the late Tunisair flight and it was going on for about 11pm when we actually got to the hotel. The front entrance is all marbl

[frankiecesca, 13/04/2008] On my recent trip to Tunisia with work we had some time to go and visit Carthage Land which is a a small theme park located in Yasmine Hammamet. This is the first theme park ever opened in Africa.
Location:
As mentioned it is located in Yasmine Hammamet and is not very far at all from the beach. In fact is is only a few minutes away from the back end of the hotel we were staying in which was the El Mouradi Yasmine Hammamet. If you were staying here on in the sister hotel, the El Mouradi El Menzah, whcih is next door to it you could easily walk to the theme park. The entrance is very easy t

[oldwasp, 22/01/2008] The Medina is located beside the sea and close to the modern town center of Hammamet, compared to other Medina's in Tunisia this is small but you can still get lost around the maze of twisting alleyways.
To enter the Medina just walk along the 15th century walls until you come to a gap in the wall, there are quite a few ways in which is good as that means there is quite a few ways out. I never managed to leave the same way as I entered on the 3 occasions we visited.
Once inside narrow alleys with high white washed buildings conceal where you are located inside the Medina, each turn is t

[oldwasp, 10/07/2007] This is a very well presented hotel. Ramps and lifts are in place to help disabled guests. It is not my usual choice as I like small family run hotels on a B&B board as we like eaten out in different restaurants. For us a week was enough but for someone who likes all inclusive packages you can do no wrong with this hotel.

[trivago traveller, 02/10/2006] Hotel staff were totaly unhelpfull. No activities were advertised in english to inform you of events occuring on the complex. Very agressive because we complained the Air Con was not working. No phones were working when we needed to arrange Taxi back to airport for 3 days! But staff were seen taking calls! Being moved during the meal for others to sit! Hard sales for cirtain activities the hotel allow to sell on site ie Camel ride! Very poor food quality & no atempts were made to control the flys.
[fizzytom, 17/08/2005] We travelled from England as a package deal, but it's possible to book directly with the hotel. The hotel is graded at 2-star, which we found suprising, given the high level of service and the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel. Most rooms are twins but there are a small number of triples. All rooms have private facilties (WC, bath / shower)and all rooms have a safety deposit box. All rooms have a small balcony, luckily ours looked over the pool but some look over the road.
The 60 rooms are spread over two buildings and over three floors. Unfortunately there is no lift but there are some g
