a row that we have stayed there. It is like having a second Home away from Home.

[stockholmsteve, 16/09/2011] We were upgraded from a normal double room to a suite with two bedrooms and ensuite which was really nice. Large TV, sofa, writing desk and even a balcony overlooking a treelined street.
The breakfast was fantastic value - large choice, fresh and very nice breakfast room.
Hotel location was also great - close to the city centre but just north of the botanical gardens which we walked through at the start and end of each day.
The only thing that was missing was a news channel in english - all the channels were dubbed into german - every film and every programme as far as I could tell.

[7622jon, 15/08/2011] Again the satnav took me to the front door of this hotel, which is situated in a central yet quiet location near to the river.
Typical European five star hotel, with prices to amtch, but good deals available over weekends.
Very good food, and the staff were attentive without being pushy.
Very grand in parts, yet had a cosey atmosphere not usually found in this chain.

[iiQ-Check, 14/06/2011] Der Baseler Hof wurde uns for..oh...6 Jahren von Freunden empfohlen. Seitdem kommen wir jedes Jahr wieder.
Es ist fast so als wenn wir Familie besuchen, der Service ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage unuebertreffbar. Auch das in Haus Restaurant sollte wegen seiner excelenten Speiseauswahl erwaehnt werden.
Wir fuehlen uns wohl und kommen wieder.
[iiQ-Check, 30/05/2011] Wie immer, mein Aufenthalt im "Baseler Hof" war sehr angenehm. Ich komme seit mehreren Jahren 1x im Jahr nach Hamburg und wuerde nie ein anderes Hotel waehlen. Alle Mitarbeiterinen und Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, hilfreich und kompetent. Dank der Hilfe und Aufmerksamkeit des Herrn O. (Nachtdienst am Empfang) war es mir moeglich, trotz Aschewolke und geschlossenem Flughafen, Frankfurt mit einem IC rechtzeitig zu erreichen, um meinen Anschlussflug nach Denver zu bekommen.
[forsaik, 20/05/2011] The hotel is in a beautiful, quiet, upscale section of Hamburg, but only moments away from an excellent subway system that will take you anywhere, and streets with lots of shops and restaurants. We stayed only one night en route to boarding the Queen Mary II, but had we known how nice it was, we would have planned an extra day or two.
Our room was easily large enough for a king-sized bed, two easy chairs with table, a writing table, and a large, built-in armoire. The toilet and bath rooms (two separate rooms) were down a small hallway. The furnishings were new, the room tastefully decorated

[CustomerAlliance, 21/04/2011] Das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel ist innen sehr gepflegt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung, es hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt.
